CLASS INSTRUCTION

Beauty is all around us...  Such scope for the imagination!

 

Classes are held throughout the year in-studio & various locations. 

With over 20 years of teaching Art, I enjoy sharing my  techniques, but also delight in encouraging my students to develop their own personal style of Creativity through the study of a variety of artists' work.  All levels of experience are welcome.  Classes are reasonably priced, and a small student/teacher ratio is ideal for specialized individual attention, group instruction and great student inter-action. 

 

•Group Lessons - $75 per month per student (4 - 3 hr sessions)

•Drop-in to a Group Lesson - $20 per 3 hour session

•Private Lessons Available - $20 per hour per student

•Travel Teaching upon request w/ Contract and particulars.

SPECIALTY CLASSES - TBA

     Basic Drawing and Watercolor Pencil.  If you want to improve your drawing skills, and learn to progress from pencil to color, this course will be just right for nurturing your artistic hearts-desire!

     Brush Handling, and Understanding of supplies and available products.  For the Beginning student and those desiring a refresher in the basics.

ACRYLICS:  Often referred to as the offspring of Oils and Watercolor, Acrylics promise to give you a wonderful variety of techniques to use; from full bodied textural effects to lovely, soft glazing.  Learning this medium is sure to give you loads of enjoyment, and Classes are on-going, so you can join in any time.  Choose Acrylics and you won't be disappointed!

DRAWING  for Beginners

The first lines are always the hardest to draw, but with time and guided practice, it gets easier to create the image you have in mind.  Art is all about transfering what you 'see' in your mind's eye, to a surface.  Drawing takes the least amount of effort. 

So, If you think you can't draw a straight line, That's good...  Straight lines are done with a ruler anyway!

WATERCOLORS

The right amount of Water and Pigment is the 'trick' in painting with Watercolors, and it won't take you long to discover the pleasures of this wonderful and versitile medium.  Interested? Contact me!

WATERCOLOR PENCILS

A most convenient medium,  a colored pencil, which can 'flow' with the touch of a wet brush, can stimulate your imagination!  Picture yourself on holidays: you can carry your colors and 1 brush, and have the artistic world at your fingertips!
